The Catherine McAuley school community celebrated Mercy Day on Friday, 1st September. This day is one of the most important events at the school and is a highlight of the year for many students.

The day began with the whole school gathering together for the Mercy Day Mass, celebrated by Rev. Father Walter Fogarty, Coordinating Pastor of Westmead. At the conclusion of the Mass was the blessing and commissioning of the 2023 - 2024 student leaders.

Each year the Student Representative Council chooses a theme and for 2023 the theme was ‘McAuley Rewind: Decades from the 60s onwards’. Students and staff had great fun dressing up in themed dress to represent the past decades.
