A group of our Year 12 students recently had the opportunity to attend the Future Focus Day at the University of Sydney, gaining valuable insight into university life and post-school pathways.

The day was designed to inspire and inform senior students as they prepare for the next stage of their academic and career journeys. Students participated in a series of interactive workshops and panel discussions featuring current university students.

Highlights of the day included hands-on sessions in a faculty of their choice, guidance on course selection, and tips on applying for scholarships and early entry programs. Many students commented that the experience helped them feel more confident about their future study options and opened their eyes to new possibilities.

Furthermore, we were privileged to experience a guided tour of the Women’s College, one of the university’s residential colleges. Students were impressed by the facilities, the academic support on offer and the community events.

Our students represented the school with pride, engaging thoughtfully in activities and asking insightful questions. The event proved not only educational but also motivational, encouraging our students to set ambitious goals and take confident steps towards life after the HSC.
