Yea r7 students on activity day

“The Year 7 Activity Day was an amazing way to start the new year in high school,” say the Year 7 students. “The day left us with memories and an appreciation for teamwork and adventure. Year 7 will very much cherish this moment!”

Year 7 students Joanna, Hansika, Zara, Trisha, Molly, Amelia and Serah have written more about the recent Year 7 Activity Day at Vision Valley, Arcadia:

The Activity Day for Year 7 was an unforgettable experience filled with excitement and adventure. We had the opportunity to engage in so many activities - the thrilling sugar glider (a 10 metre high challenge), high ropes, archery tag, mountain biking, rock climbing, canoeing, orientating and much more.

We participated in collaborative team-building exercises, such as strategically stacking crates to a great height, which allowed us to strengthen our cooperation skills and make new friendships in the process.

The day was the perfect chance to step beyond your comfort zone and experience the outside world. The Vision Valley Coordinators were very polite and enthusiastic and we thank them for making sure everyone felt welcomed and engaged. We also enjoyed their hospitality when they provided us with morning tea, lunch and an afternoon snack.

Year 7 student Yoga K. said that she enjoyed the group activities most. “I was able to participate and get to know people I didn’t know,” Yoga said. “It also encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and have fun.”

Krisha P. said she found the day fun. “It was really hot but our spirits were high and I enjoyed the whole day. My favourite activity was canoeing and I also liked being able to bond with other girls in my grade.”
