Mr Chris Dole and Catherine McAuley Westmead students dancing and singing
Year 10 students joined together for a pastoral care morning on Friday, 20th September.

Year 10 students had the opportunity to hear about the importance of courage, one of the school’s Mercy values, at the Year 10 Pastoral Care morning on Friday, 20th September.

The morning was led by Mr Chris Doyle, from Karis Ministries, and looked at how courage can impact decision making and ultimately our lives for the better. Students were challenged to be courageous when making decisions about their learning and social behaviours and to stand up for their values, even if it means going against friends.

There were opportunities to sing, dance and engage joyfully in the session. Mr Doyle also reminded the students that the world is a beautiful place and God wishes us to be joyful and to show love to each other.
