A small group of students from Years 9 and 11 joined Ms Xuereb, Leader of Pathways and Partnerships, at the Transport NSW Career Expo last week.

Held at Sydney Olympic Park the expo gave students the opportunity to learn about STEM careers with Transport NSW.

The students discovered there was more to careers in the transport industry than just driving vehicles. Careers in environment and sustainability, cybersecurity, marine life, data analysis, security and emergency management, engineering and much more.

In addition to learning about careers, students were fortunate to experience a number of activities, such as a virtual reality emergency, simulation of the new Sydney Metro and learning to correctly wear a life jacket.
