Students who received a distinction and above in the Big Science Competition


Many students from Years 7 to 10 competed in the Big Science Competition this year.

This annual competition is a 50 minute online multiple choice exam testing science knowledge, critical thinking and problem solving skills. Over 37,000 students from across Australia and the world sat the Big Science Competition.

Certificates are awarded with a High Distinction (top 5%), Distinction (next 10%), Credit (next 15%) and Participation (remaining 60%).

Catherine McAuley had 24 students receive a Credit and these students were given their certificates at their Form Assembly.

Students who received a Distinction and above were acknowledged at the school assembly this week. Congratulations to the following students:
