2022careers2

Students interested in studying law had a wonderful opportunity on Monday this week to hear from former students Roanne Gonzales, Class of 2016 and Sana Ali, Class of 2017 who are both studying law at Macquarie University.

Roanne and Sana gave an insightful and honest presentation on what it's like to study law, what motivated them to choose law and outlined the range of experiences they have had as part of their degree.

Both Roanne and Sana are about to go abroad with their New Colombo Plan scholarships. These scholarships are an initiative of the Australian Government which aims to lift knowledge of the Indo-Pacific in Australia. Undergraduates who are successful in obtaining a scholarship have the opportunity to study and undertake internships in the region. Roanne will go to Singapore and Bhutan and Sana to Singapore and Fiji.

The Career Mondays talk this week was very popular with students. Thank you to Roanne and Sana for making the time to return to school and inspire other students!
