Students in the Knitting and Crochet Group have made handmade blankets for the Parramatta Women’s Shelter.

We are incredibly proud of the students involved in our Knitting and Crochet Group, whose dedication, creativity and generosity have resulted in the creation of beautiful handmade blankets for the Parramatta Women's Shelter.

The squares that make up these blankets were lovingly knitted and crocheted by the community, for the community, reflecting the spirit of generosity, connection and service that lies at the heart of this initiative.

These blankets will provide warmth, comfort and care to women in need within our local community. This project is a wonderful example of students using their talents to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

A special thank you and acknowledgement go to Ms Leonie King and Ms Sara Sundstrom, whose beautiful creations and ongoing support have greatly contributed to the success of this initiative.
