School Captains Kaitlin and Emily with the 'Strive for the 5' keyrings
Year 11 students with their keyrings.
The school theme for 2025, developed by the Student Leaders, is ‘Strive for the 5’, with the ‘5’ representing the five Mercy values of Justice, Excellence, Hospitality, Courage and Integrity.
As a reminder to all students of the theme the leaders gave out to all students at the school assembly this week a ‘Strive for the 5’ keyring.
“Similar to the badges last year, we will all get a keyring that we can decorate our school belongings with, reminding us of our school values and acting as a symbol of unity,” Kaitlin and Emily, School Captains, told the students gathered at the assembly. “Our main aim is to unite our school community with a common mission - and we believe these key rings will act as an everyday reminder to ‘Strive for the 5’.”
“This term we call the Catherine McAuley community to show the values in all aspects of our learning, in our attitudes, relationships and how we treat one another.”
The Student Leaders finished the school assembly with the ‘Strive for the 5’ chant before singing the school song.
