The AFL Intermediate Team
In other sporting news Catherine McAuley had both a Junior and Intermediate Team represent the school at last week’s inaugural PDSSSC AFL Girls 10-a-side Gala Day held on Tuesday, 19th November. The day gave the students the opportunity to play against teams from other schools within the Diocese.
Miss Ticchio accompanied the students and said that both teams “demonstrated great teamwork, enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout all of their games.” Mr Fraser was unable to attend on the day but he was responsible for running the trial games and selecting the final teams.
At the conclusion of the gala day the students were very excited to be photographed with the official AFL Women's winners trophy from the season this year.
