Year 11 student Georgia S. joined other Year 11 students at NSW Parliament House for the NSW Constitutional Convention 2024.

On Tuesday, 5th November Year 11 student Georgia S. represented the school and NSW at the NSW Constitutional Convention 2024.

The NSW Constitutional Convention was held at NSW Parliament House. Students are nominated by their Principal to be considered for participation with the students then submitting a written statement.

Georgia was selected to attend as a representative of both Catherine McAuley Westmead and NSW. Ms Spelman, Social Science Teacher, accompanied Georgia to the convention and said that she represented the school with pride exuding integrity and excellence on the day. Georgia joined other students in participating in high level discussions about legal issues relating to rights within protests and political campaign financing.

Well done Georgia!
