Congratulations to our PDSSSC winners and runners up in basketball, cricket and touch football.

 

Basketball

Catherine McAuley were winners of the junior and intermediate basketball competition; winners and runners up in the cricket competition; and runners up in the intermediate touch football competition.

The PDSSSC Intermediate Basketball Team also won the competition this year, for the second year in a row. They remained undefeated all season and their coach Mr Krajancic said that the team will be the ones to beat in 2024.

The PDSSSC Intermediate Basketball Team were the winners of the intermediate competition for the second year in a row.


The PDSSSC Junior Basketball Team, coached by Mr Pineda, remained undefeated all season. Their grand final was played against St Agnes, Rooty Hill with the McAuley team winning 53-43.

Cricket

The PDSSSC Cricket grand final was a Catherine McAuley affair with both the White and Blue Teams making the grand final. The White Team were the winners after making 71 runs. The Blue Team put up a good fight but fell short by 20 runs. Well done to both teams and coaches Mr Taniane and Ms Robson.

Touch Football

The PDSSSC Touch Football Team were runners up in the grand final after playing against St Columbas with a final score of 4-7.

Athletics

Finally, the school congratulates Clara F. who received a PDSSSC certificate to recognise her excellence at the 2023 Athletics Carnival. Clara set a remarkable record of 26.17 seconds in the 200m 13 Year Girls Sprint.
