Students who received a credit or higher in the Australian Geography Competition.
Earlier in the year 11 students from Year 11 Geography and 24 students from Years 9 and 10 Global Connections had the opportunity to sit the Australian Geography Competition.
This competition is a contest for Australian secondary school students and tests their geographical skills and knowledge against 65,000 students from over 700 schools across Australia.
At the most recent school assembly Mrs Gloria Noud, Leader of Learning HSIE - Social Science, announced the results of the competition. 34% of the students involved received a credit certificate or higher and were presented with a certificate by School Principal Ms Refalo.
