Year 9 Student Performs Sanskrit Literature Songs at Parliament House


Year 9 student Prasidha P., performed this weekend with her community language school, Sydney Sanskrit School, at the opening ceremony of an event called International Gita Mahotsav.

This event was held at Parliament House and Prasidha and some of her fellow language school students were chosen to sing Sanskrit literature songs.

Sanskrit is an ancient and classical language of India. Prasidha said that during their performance they sang both the Australian and Indian National Anthems followed by a Sanskrit recitation.




Year 7 Student Selected For Elite Football Program


Congratulations to Year 7 student Ava L., who has been selected to participate in the Football NSW Talent Support Program for elite players.

This program allows players to train and play friendly games against the best from across NSW, in addition to their regular club commitments.

The program gives talented players exposure to a high quality environment and training sessions. Well done Ava!




Year 10 Student Competes At 2023 Golf Regional Academy Games


Well Done to Marie-Claire D., Year 10 who is part of the Golf Squad who competed and represented Western Sydney at the 2023 Regional Academy Games held recently at the Wagga Wagga Country Club and Tumut Golf Club. The team came 2nd which was a wonderful achievement.

Marie-Claire also represented Catherine McAuley at the NSWCCC Golf event held at the Waratah Golf Club, Newcastle in March 2023.
