A number of Year 8 students will spend their Thursday mornings each week reading to students from Mother Teresa Primary School. The students had their first session as reading tutors this week on Thursday, 2nd June and although they initially felt a few nerves, combined with excitement, they all dissipated once the students met each other and shared great adventures in the books that were read.
Many thanks to the Principal and staff at Mother Teresa Primary School for giving Year 8 this tremendous opportunity. The Year 8 students are excited after the first session and are very much looking forward to next week.
