20 Year 10 Commerce students attended the Western Sydney University ‘Big Ideas Challenge’ on Friday, 14th October.
20 Year 10 Commerce students spent last Friday listening to inspiring innovators and changemakers at the Western Sydney University ‘Big Ideas Challenge’.
The McAuley students joined 150 students from other schools in what was described as a fun and fast paced day of listening, learning and doing.
The theme for the session was 'Planet X' with students challenged to ideate, prototype and pitch an innovative idea that reduces or reverses negative environmental impact on our planet.
Teacher Ms Relan accompanied the students and said that they had a wonderful time.
“The students found the day extremely informative, challenging and enjoyed the opportunity to work with students from other schools”.
