The NSW Training Awards are an annual event, hosted by Training Services NSW, that recognise outstanding achievement in the Vocational Education and Training sector.
The ‘VET in Schools Student of the Year’ is awarded to an exceptional student who is undertaking accredited vocational education and training as part of their HSC program of study.
This year, three Year 12 Business Services students from Catherine McAuley were nominated for this award. Nominees participate in a lengthy selection process and, if successful, are invited to attend a panel interview with industry leaders.
Following the interviews, Macy S., Holly Z. and Daniella O. have all been named as finalists, and will join other finalists in the region at the awards ceremony in June, where the VET in Schools Student of the Year will be announced.
Well done to Daniella, Macy and Holly. This is an incredible achievement and is testament to their continued hard work and commitment to their studies in the Business Services course.
