The Year 9 STEM Club have entered the Metro Minds Competition, a competition run by Sydney Metro inviting students to help solve real challenges in Australia’s biggest public transport project. Students will work in teams to use the design thinking process to come up with a solution to an identified problem.
To help the students with their challenge the Year 9 STEM Club visited Sydney Metro stations last week so that they could experience riding it first hand. The students analysed the design features built into the stations, including sustainability, and examined how well the design integrates with the community. They also meet with Metro Minds representatives to ask any questions. Good luck to the students in preparing their submission.
