Compilation of students from the Two Day Entrepreneurship Workshop
Year 10 students were asked to think like an entrepreneur at the recent Impact Innovation Entrepreneurial Workshop they attended.

Ten Year 10 students attended an ‘Impact Innovation Entrepreneurial Workshop’ run by The NSW Department of Education and the organisation Future Anything, who empower youth entrepreneurship in schools.

The students who attended were Kashish A., Valencia R., Josephine C., Caelyn T., Krystal M., Charlice P., Aisha R., Peyton P., Riane S. and Angelica I. Riane said that the day gave her an insight into the lens of an entrepreneur and she has written the below reflection:

The workshop began with the speakers giving us a prompt to consider, “How can we make an innovative solution that makes the world a better place?” We then engaged in a series of workshops and activities that assisted us in developing a solution to this prompt. We brainstormed the roots of the problem we were solving, as well as considered the consequences and the Points of Difference between our solutions and others.

We had the opportunity to speak with a number of mentors who provided us with feedback on our solution and other alternatives to enhance our idea. At the end of the two day workshop we pitched our final idea to the other students. Overall this workshop allowed me to gauge my ability to approach challenges with an entrepreneurial mindset.
