Year 10 History students on Wednesday, 24th March had the opportunity to listen to Mr Vin and Mrs Nancy Cosgrove, representatives from the St Mary’s Vietnam Veterans Association, speak about Australia’s involvement in the Vietnam War.
Mr Vin Cosgrove is a Vietnam veteran and he was able to speak to the students about the uniforms worn, the equipment used and the experience of fighting in the Vietnam war. This incursion was a precursor to what the students will be studying next term.
