McAuley Team Comes First in NSW Schools Titration Competition

Year 12 Chemistry students competed in the NSW Schools Titration competition held at Macquarie University over the weekend on Saturday, 21st June. The 21 Chemistry students who competed did a wonderful job representing the school.

16 students from the Year 9 Accelerated Mathematics class attended a talented mathematics workshop last Friday at Cerdon College, Merrylands.

Maths PASS (Peer Assisted Study Sessions)

The Mathematics Department runs a program during Terms 2 and 3 called ‘Maths PASS’ which allows for peer assisted study sessions to take place each week with high performing Year 10 Mathematics students assisting younger students in Years 7 & 8 with their maths work.

The Mathematics Department offers ‘Maths Lab’ twice a week as a service to assist students who would like help with their mathematics work.

Years 7 & 8 Students Prepare For Robo Cup

Years 7 & 8 students who have a keen interest in digital technology have started preparing for a future Robo Cup Junior event.
