Year 12 Class of 2025 with Principal Ms M. Refalo and Ms L. Morrison
The Year 12 2025 cohort of 200 students has begun successfully transitioning into a range of post-school pathways.
As of 24 February 2026, confirmed destinations have been recorded for 121 students through a survey, representing approximately 60% of the cohort.
Of these confirmed students, the majority have transitioned into university (84%), while around 11% have pursued pathways through TAFE or private colleges. There is also a smaller number of students who have chosen to take a gap year (3%) or have moved directly into full-time employment (2%). A number of student destinations are still being finalised, with UAC data indicating that a further 55 students have received offers for tertiary study, with enrolments expected to be confirmed by April 2026.
Survey results show that the four most popular universities among students include Western Sydney University (WSU), University of Technology (UTS), Macquarie University and University of Sydney (USYD). In terms of fields of study, there has been a strong interest in areas such as Health, Society and Culture, Natural and Physical Sciences, as well as Management and Commerce. This information has been gathered through student destination surveys, direct follow-up with students, parent contact, and university entry data.

🎨 YEAR 11 VISUAL ARTS: A DAY AT THE GALLERY 🎨 Year 11 Visual Arts students explored the Art Gallery of NSW last Thursday, 19th March. In Art Express, students researched artworks further, inspiring them to note critical elements to utilise in their HSC. ‘Keys Under the Mat’, featuring an interactive sculptural park, became a highlight of the day for many Year 11 students. Equipped with gallery supplied leisure wear and slides, some joined the fun with little kids dodging water fountains. The remainder of the visit featured analysing the works of Ron Mueck; complex polymer sculptures that revealed confronting narratives, as well as the contemporary works of the Sydney Biennale. The findings referenced audience impact and emerging processes, further building knowledge on critiquing art and challenging histories. Year 11 then moved to the south gallery (Naala Nura), where art from the 1600’s was admired, understanding the oil painters of the past. ✨ STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS ✨ Congratulations to Year 12 students Taylah C, Ashleigh N. and Anabella G. who were recognised for the successful completion of the Step Up into Teaching program yesterday evening at the Step Up into Teaching Ceremony. These students completed two university subjects which can go towards a teaching degree in 2027.

AROUND THE CLASSROOMS ➡ Year 11 Exploring Early Childhood students have been taking part in the ‘Egg Baby’ assessment task, where they care for an egg baby as if it were a real newborn - giving them a glimpse into the responsibility that comes with looking after a baby. For over a week students have been bringing their egg babies to school and even including them in the extracurricular activities they participate in. Each baby has been carefully named and decorated, giving it its own personality! 🥚👶 To help manage their busy schedules, the egg babies have also been checking in to ‘Egg Day Care’ on selected mornings before Homeroom. The Year 11 students took their caregiver roles very seriously and said goodbye to the egg babies on Tuesday.

Year 7 Adventure Day at Vision Valley! 🌲 🛶 🧗♀️ Last Friday, Year 7 students took part in a day full of rock climbing, raft building, canoeing, archery tag, high-ropes challenges and more! "It was wonderful to see such a strong display of teamwork, with students offering encouragement and support for their peers," said Leader of Learning Wellbeing Year 7, Ms L. Morrison. “Throughout the day, students took part in a variety of engaging team-building activities that encouraged collaboration and communication. The group demonstrated high levels of participation in every activity, creating a positive atmosphere and ensuring the day was filled with lots of fun for everyone involved."

ART IN MOTION 🩰 ✏️ During Term 1, students from Mrs T. Flynn’s Year 10 Dance class and Mrs E. Langbein-Pass’s Year 10 Visual Arts class came together for a unique collaborative learning experience exploring the human form and movement through both dance and drawing. As the dancers rehearsed and performed their sequences, the Visual Arts students sketched in real time, capturing movement, posture and expression. The activity allowed students to see how two creative disciplines can intersect, with dancers becoming live subjects for the artists’ work. “The collaboration with the art students was a really inspiring and eye-opening experience. It allowed us to reflect on our movements and improve our performance because we had the added pressure of an audience. The artists drew us in real time, capturing positions and movements as we practised and performed our sequences. It was interesting to see how two different art forms can come together and it taught us about the importance of performance and control in ballet.” - Lily H. 🎤 PUBLIC SPEAKING GRAND FINAL 🎤 Last Friday, Year 10 student Heidi S. and Year 7 student Olive D. represented the school at the Catholic Schools Debating Association Public Speaking Grand Final held at St Patrick’s College, Strathfield. Heidi placed an outstanding 1st overall in Year 10, while Olive achieved an impressive 5th place in Year 7. Congratulations to both students on this fantastic achievement. 👏🏅
