Year 12 students on the first day at school in 2025.
Memories from Year 12 students as they look back at their high school years.
A snapshot of some of the fond school memories of students from the Class of 2025:
What was your favourite class or subject and why?
I love my Year 12 CAFS Class because I have the most amazing peers and teacher, Ms Lee! Our whole class gets along really well and there's always a good spirit and energy in the room.
Maths because Mrs Mills is my favourite teacher and she always knows how to put a smile on our faces. She is also so kind and I will miss her as she guided me through my maths journey in Year 7 and in Years 11 and 12.
PDHPE as both Ms Robson and Ms Brincat always found ways to make the lessons interesting and made sure everyone was involved and felt included, which really helped me with my confidence in the subject.
My favourite class was always Modern History. I looked forward to my teacher teaching us about past world events. She always made the lessons fun and engaging, making me love Modern History even more.
Visual Art and Maths - I've always like making art however Maths became my favourite subject once I understood it.
My favourite class is CAFS because we work together as a class and Ms Dae always gives us the best advice and information about CAFS and motivates us to do our best.
Society and Culture - we bonded with class work and enjoyed our time in learning through our teacher Mr Campbell.
English with Mr Foran was always fun!
Japanese because our teacher is the absolute best and our class always helped each other.
My favourite class was Textiles - Ms Maher made every lesson memorable, balancing fun and pushing us to do our best.
Nursing (Human Services) because of the different people I was able to meet and all the experiences I experienced.
My favourite class is Legal Studies as I enjoy the content and my teacher further challenged me to write additional in depth analysis as she helped sculpt my writing so I can aim to achieve a higher band.
My favourite class was Hospitality due to how much fun we always had and the relationships and bonds that were created.
My favourite class is my English class because Mr Foran always seems to lighten the mood, even when everyone is tired. He always has something to cheer us up.
CAFS - My teacher Ms Dae is so passionate and enthusiastic about CAFS, which pushes me to do my best and has kept me motivated to prove myself and do the best I can in the HSC!
English was my favourite subject because my teacher Mrs Farrell made learning fun.
The Senior Retreat is a favourite school memory for many Year 12 students.
What is your favourite memory of high school?
All of the whole-school events, especially the athletics and swimming carnivals!
Senior retreat because it brought the grade closer together.
My favourite memory in high school was spending time in class working together with friends and classmates.
Building my faith through the liturgies and gaining an understanding of community.
The moments where we all came together as a class and had a laugh.
Mercy Day and having fun with both students and teachers.
Singing the Year 12 chant for the first time at the swimming carnival.
Being able to unite through our tears during the sharing circle in retreat - comforting, understanding and supporting one another.
The Cheer Off!
