A Year 11 Photography student has been awarded for her photo in the ALCHEMY Photography Competition.
Year 11 Photography student Angelique A. has won the Chief Executive Officer Award in the inaugural ALCHEMY Photography Competition. This competition was a Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocesan (CSPD) event under the CAPTIVATE banner.
Angelique’s work was chosen by Mr Jack de Groot, Chief Executive Officer, CSPD, who viewed all 65 final entries, with no names or information about the artist, and chose one overall winner. And that winner was Angelique!

Year 11 student Amelia was also chosen as a finalist for her photograph.
There were 300 entries in total with 65 finalists shown last week at the Exhibition Opening Night held on Thursday 31st July at Caroline Chisholm College. Well done also to Amelia A., Year 11, who had her photograph selected as a finalist and was also shown on opening night. Both Angelique and Amelia attended along with Visual Arts Teacher Mrs S. Malek.
Mrs Malek said the exhibition night was a beautiful night and all photographs chosen were due to their exceptional creativity and artistic excellence.
Congratulations Angelique!
